Excellent reason. It's wonderful you made the connection. Did it click for you at some point that this was the case or have you always just felt this way about the writing?
I've always been aware of the opposite, of how good I feel when I write. But I think in the last year or so I've felt down in the dumps when circs conspired to make it impossible
I enjoyed Sadhguru and I've shared today's newsletter with someone who has trouble sleeping. I learned a long time ago to go with the flow when it comes to sleep troubles - the more you worry about it the worse it gets - so I was pleased to hear that this intuitive approach is beneficial, and to hear all the other good advice from Sadhguru. I am finding your yoga videos really helpful and even did a couple of moves this morning. It's a start! Thank you very much. I am sure this newsletter is going to help a lot of people.
That's so wonderful that you thought it might be worth sharing :)
"A couple moves" - that's great! A lot of people I've talked to think that unless you can commit to a ton of time, it's not worth. Not just for yoga but sport...writing...
What I really like about this is that anyone can benefit from it, and I don't think it matters how advanced you are. Everyone will find their own path. I think you are successfully catering to a wide spectrum of people here. It's really good. Thank you!
I love this! I've always felt the mind/body connection through yoga, which is one of the reasons I love it. But I hadn't really put the idea of writing into the same context before. The studies you mention on the healing power of writing is remarkable, though it shouldn't be surprising. When I don't either practice yoga or do some kind of writing, I feel 'off' in some way. Thanks for bringing such an interesting and thoughtful aspect to these topics! (I am also enjoying your YouTube videos!)
I have not listened to Dr Chatterjee's podcast in forever. Good time as any to check what he's been up to lately.
As for the mind-body connection, I think that's the basis of my approach to witchcraft. I haven't done yoga in forever but it was key to my earlier healing when I was living completely disembodied. Scary AF when everyone you know keeps telling you stories of people who needed exorcisms because of it opening you up to demons, but once that calmed down the positive effects were incredible.
Happy you found me to connect! Going to have a look at your Stack. Thanks for the great response. Sorry to hear about your wrists. Injuries are the worst - even if they can make us stronger in the end.
As a corollary to writing as healing, one of the reasons I write is that I get depressed when I can't

Thanks for the great comment, Jules.

This comment made my day. No, month! :) Really happy to hear it.

I feel that oddness too. It’s something like what Terry mentions in the comments.
Thanks I’m happy you like the videos! :)

Thanks Alexis! I’m not sure I understood it all, but I’m happy to have a witch here as well.
Just reading this post felt very healing:)
Great. Any yoga / spotting of yoga in India?
Definitely longer than 20 minutes and more than 5 occasions
Thanks Lisa :)
And should include the comments :)
